Our brief was to design and build suspended ceilings that were eco-friendly, robust and looked amazing – all within budget. We needed to use standard products and systems, but still ensure the design was sleek and contemporary.
Our challenge was to create eco-friendly, robust and contemporary ceilings using standard products and systems – while delivering a sleek and attractive design.
The concrete shell we worked in was an architectural feature, so the abutment of our works needed to be sharp. We installed shadow gap beads and powder-coated cloaking angles to the head and vertical joints. Service penetrations had to be neat because they were on show in many areas that only had raft ceilings. The huge drywall bulkhead in the main atria had bespoke movement joints that needed to operate correctly while remaining an architectural feature.
Our team rose to the challenge and delivered exceptional work, much to the delight of both the main contractor and end user.
