Situated in the heart of London’s vibrant Canary Wharf, we were excited to work in such a well-known building with both an architect and main contracting team that we have worked well with before.
The project was a major one, requiring everything from SAS system 330 ceilings for the trading & support floors, through to acoustic soffit spray and Hunter Douglas feature ceilings for the ‘hub’ and ‘breakout’ spaces. In the specialist areas, we installed a combination of GRG troughs and feature plasterboard. The reception area was restyled with a striking, timber-slatted, triple-height ceiling and wall cladding.
This £8.5m project had to be completed while the client was still in residence, requiring flexibility and well-planned sectional completions.
The major challenge of this project was completing the work while the client was still in residence. This meant the work had to be phased over a period of 36 months and required many well-planned sectional completions.
The project was a major success and the installations will look excellent and operate well for years to come.
