Devan Swart , Commercial Director

Devan arrived in the UK from South Africa in 2005 to work as a quantity surveyor for a drylining company involved in constructing Heathrow Terminal 5 and a variety of London Underground projects. After that, he worked as a project surveyor for a firestopping company, specialising in commercial developments.

In 2011, Devan joined us at Integra. He’d worked closely with us before and was attracted by our dynamic and our growth. Originally joining as a quantity surveyor, over the years he has worked on major projects at Heathrow and across London. Now Commercial Director, he is responsible for making sure that projects run smoothly, efficiently and meet financial targets.

Devan is motivated by the uniqueness of his work, including on flagship projects such as the 2012 Olympics and Tottenham FC’s stadium. He’s also a big fan of the team spirit at Integra, explaining: “We have a very strong, honest, loyal and dedicated team working towards the same goal. I have grown within Integra over the past 9 years, so it is a big part of my life – like a family.”

Being a South Africa, Devan loves to get the BBQ going whenever he can, ideally while watching the rugby!
