Chas Welling , Project Manager

Chas began his career as a senior fixer at Phoenix Interiors, working his way up to become a supervisor and then Contracts Manager. After moving to Simplicity Mouldings as Project Manager, he gained experience of major fit-out projects such as at One Hyde Park. In 2014 he took up a role as Contracts Manager at CIM, regularly overseeing projects with a value of up to £3 million. In late 2024, when CIM unfortunately went into administration, we gave Chas a call and asked if he’d like to join the Integra team.

Now Senior Project Manager, Chas generally oversees two or three projects at the same time. He spends most of his time onsite, making sure that site managers have the right labour, materials and designs they need. He also makes sure that the teams are working in a safe environment and that their work complies with Health & Safety regulations. Chas also has input on clients’ and architects’ designs, advising on practical details that can make them more achievable.

As someone who prides himself on high quality work, Chas is motivated by helping teams to deliver top quality jobs, on budget and on time. He is keen for Integra to keep pushing boundaries and to contribute to winning new projects.

In his spare time, Chas is a keen golfer and particularly loves to plan two or three holidays each year with his partner, visiting different countries across the globe.
