FIS 2019 Gold Award Winner

Integra Contracts completed the ceiling installation at 160 Aldersgate Street on behalf of ISG InteriorExterior.

Several ceiling types were specified, along with a wide variety of materials to construct the ceilings, including MF plasterboard ceilings, margins and blind boxes, a variety of SAS metal ceiling systems, Tubeline, Trucell, Ace metal timber veneer ceiling, Stil Acoustics linear 12 and Kvadrat acoustic panels. The project consisted of 88 floors incorporating openplan offices, general areas, specialist floors, staff café and wellness areas.

The judges commented: “The design was complicated by the architect’s vision of using a number of acoustic materials not necessarily made for proprietary ceiling systems. But Integra’s team worked with the architects to transform these ideas into a finished installation. All these products and finishes are superbly fixed and integrate well to form an exciting and animated total ceiling installation.”
