Integra praised for major London HQ project
We are very proud to have completed a challenging and prestigious suspended ceilings project in London for a well-known, international firm.
We were chosen by main contractor ISG to install a variety of suspended ceilings at the company’s HQ at 100 Bishopsgate, London. These included plasterboard ceilings with integrated specialist lighting, through to metal SAS planks in the perimeter offices. Specialist spaces were installed with timber slats split into irregular, angled shapes that were formed by bespoke, inverted troughs.
Other highlights of the project included the auditorium. For this space, we created a ceiling from irregular metal panels to achieve a Union Jack shape. In client meeting rooms and conference spaces, we installed a variety of bespoke profiles that housed the services with fabric panels.
Integra took a very proactive approach to the project, which was managed by Terry Connell and completed within the agreed timescale of 45 weeks. We were particularly proud to meet the project deadline, especially as we faced logistical hurdles because of COVID-19. These included rigorous social distancing and one-way access routes.
Aleksandrina Rizova, Design Manager at ISG, was impressed by our work. She said: “Integra were extremely hands-on and delivered numerous mock-ups in order to resolve tricky details. It was a joy to be able to work with such a professional and friendly team – they were creative, practical and easy to work with.”
