Integra worked across nine floors to fit out offices and trading floors. The design of the trading floor ceilings was critical to the success of the project. We were delighted to be involved from a very early stage, helping to design not just the ceiling but key features including chilled beams and integral lighting.
A major project for Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), fitting out offices and trading floors for the company’s modern HQ building near Liverpool Street, London.
As you can see, barrel-vaulted metal ceilings with integrated chilled beams are split by pre-mitred plasterboard bulkheads. These give a sharp and seamless design that enhances the changes of level.
Acoustic performance is critical for a busy trading floor. Integra worked closely with all partners to ensure that products and junctions were designed and sourced responsibly.
