Devan Swart, Commercial Director

Originally from South Africa, Devan arrived in the UK in 2005. His first job here was as a quantity surveyor, working for a drylining firm involved in constructing Heathrow Terminal 5 and other major projects.

Devan joined us as a quantity surveyor in 2011. “Integra was interested in my career,” he recalls. “I felt that the company would give me lots of opportunity.”

He was right. Devan was soon promoted to senior quantity surveyor before becoming one of our two commercial directors. “I’m very happy in my current role,” he explains. “I’m at a senior level and I’ve achieved what I’ve always wanted to achieve in my career. It’s demanding work making sure that projects run correctly, within budget and on time – but I have an excellent team behind me and we’re all committed to success.”
