Richard Dunwoody , Commercial Director

Richard began his career as a quantity surveyor, working for a variety of drylining specialists. He joined us as Commercial Director in 2010 and, after a short spell widening his experience in our sector, re-joined the team in early 2020.

In his role at Integra, Richard is responsible for the commercial aspects of projects after tenders are won. He manages project budgets, controls costs and forecasts margins. He also manages the variation of valuation processes, as well as mentoring younger members of our commercial team. Richard particularly enjoys achieving successful outcomes via strict cost control, as well as building trustful relationships with both our clients and subcontractors.

Richard likes the working environment at Integra, with its culture of openness and the sense that everyone is pulling in the same direction. He’s proud that Integra is such a trusted and respected force in its sector.

At the weekends, Richard enjoys cycling and running, and spending time with his children – often taking them to see motor sports events.
